My Co-op AGM Door Prize

You might have seen this story about ads on sheep blankets, and a town in the Netherlands that is trying to ban them as a form of roadside advertising.

What caught my eye was the bit at the end of the story about a controversy over putting ads on people.

As if that was something new!

Good to "see" you, lovely lady!

So, do you regularly wear ballcaps, or was this a special occasion?

I'm looking around, and almost everything has a little brand tag on it somewhere! I can't escape!

Nope, don't like ballcaps. But I noticed that when I tucked most of my hair through the opening at the back, the cap stayed on my head all day. I might have to adapt your idea, and cut a piece out of the back of the crown of my favourite hat. Eek - not yet. I'll let it get a little shabbier first.

Advertising on people...and on top of it, people paying for the privilege to wear advertising! Scandalous!

You think anyone could make a buck doing the same thing with livestock in Canada? Or do they graze too far away from the highways to make it worth it?

Deb - I was going to say what you said, almost word for word, but then I decided to leave the commentary up to the commenters. Good work!

Anon - maybe some places, but if you want to sell to the farmers in the wide-open spaces out here, you're best to put your ads on their neighbours' foreheads. A farm auction sale is like a trade show without the booth fees.

Says who?

Someone who likes this blog overall but doesn't like the recent direction I've taken?

Someone from Arcola area who thinks this blog reflects badly on the town, because of its name?

Someone who fears for my reputation, or my safety?

Just wondering. I have a guess as to who you are, but the questions still apply.
