Not Forwarded but Shared

...because I refuse to forward such things but the prayer speaks to me deeply right now. It's not so much a prayer as a benediction, I'm thinking...

Saint Theresa's Prayer

May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be confident knowing you are a child of God. Let this presence settle into your bones,
and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.

Thanks Tim. I have been caught up in a whirlwind of change and have neglected some friends. I was thinking just yesterday about all of you that I have known through the blogs, and that it would be well worthwhile to start posting again, just a little, but regularly. Thanks for the nudge.

I am well, questing, just finished a successful but eye-opening first semester of a two-year after-degree program in education, and considering switching to journalism or a PhD in education or sociology or something along those lines, pursuing my burning questions about social change. For now I am taking a break from school to be closer to the kids while Ruth finishes her Grade 12. Hopefully in the fall things will settle down a bit for Garth and James once she moves on to new things, so they won't need me as close... but that remains to be seen.

All the best to you!

Great. I'd love to hear about your "questing."

I'm starting a new website, "Being Into The Journey" .com and I'll keep you posted. If you wish, I'd love to interview you for that.

Keep me posted.

The kids will still need you, but in different ways.
