Adaptation
I may have said this before.
If we humans are so adaptable, why don't we adapt our own lifestyles, now, instead of waiting until adaptation is forced on us and on all those other living things that aren't so adaptable?
Everyone has been so busy adapting to "surviving" in the current "world" that they have little energy or perspective to see beyond that.
I suspect that anyone who is looking / moving in the direction of basic values and self-sustaining activities / actions are the adapters you are thinking of.
